SRSS Softwares (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Sounds Like mobile application. This app is designed as an educational tool for children to learn sounds from various categories such as animals, birds, and vehicles.

User Preferences: Preferences such as selected language and onboarding status are stored locally using Android DataStore.
Media Playback: The app uses the Android MediaPlayer and Text-to-Speech (TTS) engine to play sounds and speak names. These processes happen on the device.

3. Third-Party Services

While the app itself does not collect data, it uses standard Android system services provided by Google:

Google Play Services: Used for app delivery and updates. Google’s Privacy Policy.
Android TTS Engine: Used for the “Speak Name” feature. This is a system-level tool.

The app does not contain any third-party advertisements or in-app purchases, ensuring a safe environment for children.

4. Permissions

The app requires minimal permissions to function:

Internet Access: Used only for technical requirements of the Android platform (e.g., potential TTS voice data downloads by the system) and does not involve data collection by us.

5. Data Security

Since all data is stored locally on your device, the security of that data depends on the security of your device. We do not transmit your data over the internet, which significantly reduces the risk of data breaches.

Parents and guardians have full control over the app’s local data. You can clear all app data (including favorites and settings) at any time through your Android device settings: Settings > Apps > Sounds Like > Storage > Clear Data.
